About the Role

You will take a central role in driving Electronics & Software (E&S) deliveries in a product development environment within the construction industry. The assignment spans new product development, product improvements and cost-out initiatives, where you help ensure that software, electronics/electrical and test activities move forward in line with business priorities.

This role suits you if you enjoy working from a broad technical and project perspective. You will coordinate closely with R&D, PMO and related functions, balance time, cost and deliveries, and make technical decisions based on the overall situation rather than on deep specialist detail. It is an interesting opportunity to influence execution across several important development tracks.

Job Description

You will lead and coordinate all E&S work within new product development, product improvement and cost-out projects covered by the role.
You will prioritize E&S activities and take ownership of deliveries across software, electronics/electrical and test.
You will work closely with R&D, PMO and the Connectivity Center to align scope, timing and dependencies.
You will follow up on E&S resources and budget connected to development projects.
You will report progress and delivery status to the E&S management team.
You will make technical decisions from a helicopter perspective, with focus on cost, timing, deliveries and what is good enough to move forward.

Requirements

Background in electronics or software development
A solid project lead profile
Ability to work professionally in both Swedish and English
