Technical Manager with Programming Skills

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager with strong programming and data transformation skills for a long-term consulting assignment in Linköping.

In this role, you will work with archiving and information management solutions, focusing on extracting, transforming, and preparing data from various source systems for long-term digital preservation. You will collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure that information is archived according to established standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Extract and analyze data from SQL databases.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries for data processing and validation.
• Transform data into archival formats such as XML and PDF/A.
• Create and manage XML structures according to predefined specifications.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell.
• Plan, coordinate, and structure technical activities related to archiving and information management.
• Communicate with business stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams supporting underlying IT services.
• Support operation, maintenance, and development of management and document management systems.

Required Qualifications

• Several years of experience in programming and system development.
• Strong experience with SQL and complex database queries.
• Strong experience with XML creation, transformation, and validation.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Experience working with Microsoft Server and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Experience transforming and migrating data between systems.
• Experience working with archival formats such as XML and PDF/A.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent Swedish, spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Experience from public sector organizations.
• Experience with information management, records management, or digital archiving.
• Experience with document management systems.
• Knowledge of archive standards and long-term digital preservation.

• Location: Linköping (partly remote)
• Scope: Full-time
• Long-term assignment with the possibility of extension
