Your mission at Voi

As part of our Street Patrol Team, you will be out on the streets making sure that our scooters are ready for use in a user- and environment-friendly way.

Here are some of the tasks awaiting you as a Street Patroller:

  • Actively monitor and enforce correct vehicle parking across your zone, ensuring vehicles are placed in compliant, agreed locations and never blocking footpaths, dropped kerbs, or access points

  • Repark and reposition vehicles to keep them accessible, tidy, and meeting local authority requirements at all times

  • Ride a Voi vehicle (bicycle or scooter) to patrol your zone and key hotspots efficiently and reach vehicles quickly

  • Identify damaged or non-functioning vehicles, carry out minor fixes where possible

  • Support safe and compliant vehicle deployment across your area

  • Locate and retrieve vehicles as directed by your team lead

  • Support major city events by managing the increased influx of vehicles, coordinating redeployment to approved zones, and keeping the area tidy and compliant throughout

    What you’ll need to embark:

  • Comfortable riding an e-bike across your zone; able to ride a Voi scooter if you hold a provisional or full driver's licence

  • Good understanding of micromobility and the urban context in which it operates

  • Solid knowledge of your assigned London boroughs and the ability to navigate them confidently

  • Able to work efficiently across a large geographic zone and stay organised throughout your shift

  • Committed to safe working practices and following processes – you understand why compliance matters

  • Confident raising issues, flagging violations, and escalating when something needs attention

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a wider team

  • Positive attitude and a willingness to take real ownership of your zone

Nice to have (not essential):

  • Experience in a field-based, logistics, compliance, or operations role

  • Familiarity with local authority parking schemes or shared mobility regulations

  • Valid driving licence (required if you'd like to ride a Voi e-scooter)

Job conditions

  • Working shifts: 5 out of 7 (2-week shift pattern)

  • Working hours: Day shifts with flexibility to work weekends

  • Contract type: 3 months Fixed Term contract
