About the Role

You will step into a senior engineering role where cloud architecture, platform thinking, and hands-on development come together. In this assignment, you will help shape and improve cloud-native solutions in an automotive environment with high expectations on scalability, security, and availability.

The role spans both strategic and technical work. You will influence how AWS services are used, define architecture direction, and build robust Java-based services that support modern application delivery. It is a strong fit for you if you enjoy moving between architecture, implementation, and platform optimization. What makes this role especially interesting is the chance to combine deep AWS and Kubernetes work with real influence over how modern cloud solutions are designed and evolved.

Job Description

You will design and implement cloud-based solutions on AWS with focus on scalability, security, and high availability.
You will develop architecture roadmaps and cloud strategies using services such as Amazon EKS, AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS, and AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
You will establish and strengthen cloud architecture best practices and governance policies, while evaluating new AWS services to improve existing solutions.
You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate.
You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, optimize application performance, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
You will lead deployment and management of containerized applications on Amazon EKS and drive improvements in Kubernetes scalability, security, networking, and availability.
You will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Maven.
You will automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation and work closely with DevOps teams to increase automation and operational efficiency.
You will contribute to monitoring and logging setups using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Amazon CloudWatch, and AWS OpenSearch.

Requirements

Expertise in Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters on AWS.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, Maven, and GitHub Actions.
Strong knowledge of Docker and microservices architecture.
Experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and networking, including VPC, Security Groups, and IAM.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a collaborative way of working.

Nice to have

Experience with Amazon EKS, AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS, and AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
Experience with Argo CD.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Amazon CloudWatch, and AWS OpenSearch.
