About the Role

You will join a modernization initiative in financial markets where trade flows are being moved from local solutions to a common Nordic settlement platform. This is a role for you if you enjoy working where business change and technology meet, and if you want to help shape solutions in a post-trade environment that is evolving quickly.

The area is influenced by major industry shifts such as T+1 settlement, market infrastructure convergence and ongoing consolidation across Europe. That means you will work close to real market change, together with experienced teams and stakeholders, in a setting where your analysis, design decisions and implementation work will have clear impact. It is an exciting opportunity to contribute in a technically and business-critical domain that is becoming increasingly important for the efficiency of European markets.

Job Description

• You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs, clarify priorities and define a clear delivery scope.
• You will shape solutions together with the team and document key decisions so they are easy to understand, maintain and evolve over time.
• You will implement changes through configuration and, when needed, development related to Java, integrations and automation.
• You will plan and execute functional testing and UAT together with stakeholders, while helping improve quality and test automation where relevant.
• You will troubleshoot production issues, drive root-cause analysis and turn lessons learned into lasting improvements.
• You will contribute throughout the delivery lifecycle, from idea and analysis to implementation and production readiness.

Requirements

• Relevant experience from financial markets and post-trade, especially securities settlement.
• Experience combining analysis, solution design and hands-on implementation.
• Hands-on experience delivering changes in an IT development setup, agile or hybrid, from idea to production.
• Ability to understand system architecture and make sound design choices that balance functionality, performance and maintainability.

Nice to have

• Experience with Calypso.
• Java development experience.
• Experience with integrations and automation.
