Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Control System Development Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Develop and maintain control system software for medium gas turbine products
• Engineer and configure SIMATIC SPPA-T3000 and PCS 7 control systems
• Design and implement:
• Control logic
• Sequences
• Interlocks
• HMI/Operator Station displays
• Alarm management
• Reporting functions
• Deliver technical solutions within development projects
• Collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional engineering teams
• Integrate field instrumentation and third-party subsystems
• Configure industrial communication protocols, including:
• Profibus
• Profinet
• Modbus TCP
• OPC
• Perform configuration management, version control, and rigorous system testing
• Apply industry standards for safety, quality, and cybersecurity
• Improve engineering processes and ways of working
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous technical development within the team

What You Bring

• Extensive experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering
• Strong expertise in:
• SIMATIC SPPA-T3000
• Siemens PCS 7
• Experience developing industrial control system software
• Strong understanding of automation and process control systems
• Ability to read and interpret:
• P&IDs
• Wiring diagrams
• Loop sheets
• Instrument datasheets
• Experience with industrial communication protocols
• Experience with configuration management and software version control
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Experience working in international engineering environments
• Ability to work onsite at least three days per week in Finspång
