Expertise:
•Strong understanding of ESG and/or financial reporting and reporting processes.
•Strong understanding of internal control principles and how to create reliable processes with high-quality outcomes, supporting compliant external (statutory) reporting.
•Basic knowledge of EU Taxonomy reporting (or willingness and capability to develop this at speed).
•Solid knowledge of assurance/external audit requirements and procedures, understanding of what is needed to deliver a positive outcome.

Experience:
•You bring solid experience in ESG and/or financial reporting, as well as in securing positive assurance and/or external audit outcomes because of having strong processes in place
•You have a university degree and 6 years of related experience, or minimum 6–8 years of related experience with corporate reporting.
Your Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include:
•Bring the ESG reporting framework to life: Ensure effective implementation and ongoing maintenance of the ESG reporting framework by accountable teams by working closely together; ensure that key prerequisites—such as KPI/metric documentation, process descriptions, reporting procedures, and guidance materials—are in place, consistently applied, and aligned with the Group ESG reporting framework (for CSRD reporting including CSDDD and EU Sustainable Taxonomy reporting).
•Translate regulatory requirements for EU Sustainable Taxonomy reporting into practice: interpret legal reporting requirements and translate them into clear, practical approaches that inform and strengthen our ESG reporting framework and what we report out. Act as a subject matter expert on EU Taxonomy requirements.
•Oversee control effectiveness and reporting quality: Perform internal control activities, including sample testing of ESG-related controls, and monitor overall reporting quality to ensure accuracy, reliability, completeness and ultimately compliance.
•Strengthen processes and documentation: Drive continuous improvement of reporting procedures, documentation, and quality management activities within the ESG reporting framework. Identify gaps, propose corrective actions, and ensure improvements are embedded.
•Co-lead the ESG reporting cycle: further develop and run the reporting year cycle, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant delivery while continuously identifying opportunities for simplification and efficiency.
•Manage assurance follow-up in relation to the ESG reporting framework: Lead the follow-up on ESG assurance findings from external auditors, ensuring that observations are addressed effectively and translated into structural improvements of the framework and supporting documentation.
