Director Finance & Control Region Europe North

Your opportunity

As Director Finance & Control, you are the custodian of the financial performance and integrity of the region. You will act as a trusted advisor to the President and Regional Leadership Team, turning financial insights into impactful business decisions and ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and cash generation.

You will lead a team of employees across the region, play an instrumental role in the regional leadership team, and represent Region Europe North in Finance & Control at EMEA level, influencing direction beyond the region.

What you will do

• Partner closely with the President and leadership team, providing data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions
• Lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring transparency and high quality
• Drive financial performance, including profitability, cash flow, working capital, and cost discipline to drive shareholder value
• Manage and strengthen partnerships with global shared services and business process outsourcing providers ensuring end to end process excellence
• Drive digital finance transformation improving data availability systems reporting visualization and planning tools
• Ensure financial integrity and compliance with US GAAP / IFRS, statutory requirements, internal controls, and SOX
• Own governance of CAPEX, investments, and risk management
• Lead, develop, and engage the Finance & Control team, building strong capabilities and a high-performance culture
• Contribute actively to the wider finance community, ensuring alignment with regional and corporate standards

Your background

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent
• Solid Finance & Controlling experience in an international environment
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS, statutory reporting, controls, and SOX
• Proven leadership experience in a large multinational organization
• Fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage
