About the Role

You will join a technology-driven engineering environment within renewable energy and power infrastructure, where medium- and high-voltage cable accessories play a key role in the transition to more sustainable energy systems. In this role, you will help develop and adapt products for AC and DC cable systems, combining design work with technical evaluation, verification, and close collaboration across engineering, R&D, product management, and suppliers.

You will work across the full product lifecycle, from early concepts and detailed design to industrialization, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of existing products. Job Description

You will design components and technical solutions in 2D and 3D CAD for medium- and high-voltage cable accessories.
You will create product structures and assembly BOMs in the PLM environment and support technical documentation around new and updated designs.
You will take part in physical product installations and design verification in the test lab to validate concepts and improve designs.
You will evaluate technical results, document your findings, and present recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
You will collaborate with engineers, specialists, project managers, test engineers, and suppliers to move development forward.
You will help ensure that technical solutions meet customer needs, business requirements, and long-term product strategy.
You will contribute throughout the lifecycle, including concept development, detailed design, industrialization, quality assurance, and continuous improvements.
You will use feedback from testing, installations, and customers to identify enhancements that strengthen reliability, performance, and sustainability.

Requirements

You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
You have approximately 3 years of relevant professional experience.
You have experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
You have experience working with PLM systems such as Windchill.
You are comfortable working with MS Office.
You communicate fluently in English.

Nice to have

You communicate fluently in Swedish.
