Business Controller

Miss Mary of Sweden, a manufacturer of high-quality, well-fitting women’s lingerie, was founded in 1957 and has in recent years transformed into a modern e-commerce company. We have offices in Borås, Sweden and Tallinn, Estonia, and our products are sold in more than 18 countries.

We are strengthening our finance function with a Business Controller who can turn numbers into business insights and serve as a true partner to leadership on Miss Mary’s continued growth journey.

About the role

You will be working in a group on a continued growth journey, with responsibilities that create real, tangible impact, directly connected to the business.

We are looking for an analytical and commercially oriented Business Controller with overall responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis and management reporting. A key part of the role is to work closely with the CFO and the leadership team to drive the development of our financial steering and take the controlling function to the next level. The Business Controller reports to the CFO of Miss Mary Group and become part of our Finance function, consisting of four colleagues in Sweden, while working in close collaboration with our team in Estonia.

We believe you have:

• A relevant academic degree in finance, accounting or similar, combined with 3–6 years of experience in controlling, FP&A or business-facing finance roles.
• A structured, driven and analytical mindset with a genuine interest in business and the ability to move between strategic thinking and operational detail.
• A strong focus on delivery, you take full ownership of tasks and follow them through from start to finish with real commitment.
• Solid Excel skills and strong analytical capability, along with experience of BI tools and ERP systems. Experience in process automation or digitalisation of finance processes is a plus.
• The ability to communicate financial insights and conclusions clearly and with confidence and to explain complex financial matters to a wide range of stakeholders, both within and beyond the finance team.
• Full professional proficiency in Swedish as well as English, both spoken and written – as Miss Mary is an international company, this is essential.
• If you also bring experience from consumer goods, retail or e-commerce – you are an ideal fit for this role.

Key responsibilities:

• Budgeting and forecasting – lead the group’s budget and forecast process in close collaboration with the CFO and the business.
• Management reporting – produce clear monthly reports with variance analysis and recommended actions for the leadership team and board.
• Profitability analysis – analyse performance by entity, business area, product and market to identify margin drivers and value-creating opportunities.
• KPIs and financial steering – define and monitor key metrics that support business decisions and strategic direction.
• Business partnering – support the leadership team with decision-making materials, investment cases, pricing analyses and strategic initiatives.
• Process optimisation – proactively drive automation and efficiency improvements in finance processes, and contribute to a stronger internal control environment and financial risk management.

We operate a hybrid working model, with an expectation of 3 days per week at our head office in Borås.
