Acting Manager - Global Project Sourcing, Lund

We are looking for a dedicated Acting Manager for our Global Project Sourcing department co cover for a parental leave. In this role, you will hold full responsibility for leading a high-performing team, managing the budget, and ensuring that our sourcing strategies are perfectly aligned with Axis's innovative product development. This is a temporary position covering a parental leave. Who is your future team? Always with an inclusive team spirit and solid believe in our personal potential. What you'll do here as Acting Manager, Global Project Sourcing? As the Manager, you will balance formal personnel and budgetary responsibilities with the strategic oversight of our product development projects from sourcing perspective. You will be the bridge between R&D and Operations, ensuring we achieve the "right cost from the start" in our new products, while fostering a culture of development and collaboration.

Together with your team and your peer´s you will also be responsible for:

• Leading, coaching, and inspiring a team of Project Sourcing Leads.
• Managing all aspects of the employee life-cycle, including performance reviews, salary discussions, and work environment.
• Taking full responsibility for the department's budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and financial accountability.
• Leading the recruitment process for new talent within the department, ensuring we continue to build a diverse and skilled team.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

• A University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Previous management experience with a track record of promoting a productive and developing work environment.
• Long-term and proactive mindset
• Flexibility to navigate successfully within a complex structure to operate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Love to manage and grow people
• An ability to build and sustain strong trusting collaborative internal relationships
• Fluent English skills

The role will be based in Lund. You will in this role be reporting to the Director of Global Sourcing and be part of Global Sourcing Management team.
